Peas

from CA$2.95

These organic peas are best grown as a microgreen. The sprouting process increases nutritional content and aids in digestion. Add sprouted peas to salads or cook in a hearty mid-winter pea soup. As a microgreen, the delicate shoots create a great topping for eggs, salads, or even a grilled chicken breast or steak. The shoots can also be added to smoothies or juiced.

This sprout seed has been sourced from a supplier who tests every lot for pathogen detection in the 99.999+ range. It has been sanitized in hypochlorite solution, which does not change the organic designation of the seed, and is recommended and approved by the FDA. Effluent water is tested for pathogens and no seed is released for resale until negative results are obtained.
